ELEGIBILITY FOR MEMBERSHIP
Membership of the Order is restricted to practicing Catholics .
The Society is strictly non-political being essentially working
for the promotion of the Catholic Faith, the spiritual and
material welfare of its members and co-operation with other
Catholic Organizations in the furtherance of both national and
international Catholic activities. It admits honorable Catholic
men of all social grades and ethnic origins who are of the ages
of 18 to 60 years
Further, to become a member of the Society, an aspirant must
be adjudged to be of sound moral character, temperate habits,
constant in the practice of his religious duties, especially in the reception of Holy Communion, upright and honest in all
aspects of life and of good personal relations.
PROPOSITION FOR MEMBERSHIP

Any candidate who wishes to join the Order shall apply in writing to the Secretary of the Council of his choice of
his intention to do so.

He shall, when applying, nominate two members in good standing as his proposers and, in addition, enclose the
prescribed proposition fee.

The application shall be placed before the Council at a regular Council meeting and if the Council is satisfied with testimonies
of the proposers regarding the eligibility of the candidate,
it shall direct the Secretary to forward Medical Forms to the
candidate to complete and return.

On receipt by the Council of the Application and Medical Forms duly completed by the candidate and the Medical Officer
respectively and endorsed by the Parish Priest of the candidate
or an authorized Priest of his Church, the Council shall appoint
an investigation committee which shall assess the candidate and
submit its report to the Council through the Advisory Board
of the said Council.

A candidate who passes a screening test of the Investigation Committee shall be balloted upon by the Council.

A candidate who is successful on the ballot shall be so informed on his payment of the prescribed fee received into the Order by
a special rite of initiation in accordance with the rituals of the Order.
